Starting Fitness With No Previous Routine
Build a week you can understand before you build one that impresses you.

The first week should teach you how the routine fits. It does not need to prove your potential.
Pick two anchors
Choose two actions for the week: perhaps two short strength sessions, or one session and two walks. Put them into times that already have space.
Keep the first session familiar
Use movements you can perform safely and understand. Stop with energy left. Soreness is not a receipt for an effective start.
Record only the useful facts
- What you did
- How long it took
- Whether the effort felt manageable
- What should stay the same next time
Add one demand at a time
Do not increase frequency, duration and difficulty together. Change one variable, repeat the week and observe how recovery feels.
A good first month ends with a routine that makes sense. Speed can come later.
