STREEQ for Claude and ChatGPT

Let your AI work with your real fitness record.

STREEQ gives a connected Claude or ChatGPT controlled access to the workouts, food, body progress and health evidence you keep in STREEQ. It does not expose unrelated conversations.

Connecting is available to every active STREEQ account. Pro is still required for paid capabilities such as self-managed plans and advanced analysis; connecting the AI itself is not a Pro-only gate.

What it can do

  • Read your STREEQ profile, history and active plans
  • Create or replace your workout programme or food strategy when self-management is available
  • Change one exercise, set target, meal or ingredient when you hold plan authority
  • Start, synchronize and finish workouts
  • Record meals, corrections, weight, measurements and activities
  • Use meal photos you explicitly stored in STREEQ
  • Review imported Strava history only when you approve that separate permission

You remain in control

You sign in to STREEQ and approve the requested permissions.

Plan changes are direct only while your workout or food authority is person-owned.

If an active TRAINEDBY coach owns the plan, self-directed plan mutation is blocked.

You can disconnect the AI connection from STREEQ.

How sign-in works

Use the hosted STREEQ MCP address https://mcp.streeq.app. Claude or ChatGPT registers itself using Dynamic Client Registration, then opens STREEQ sign-in at https://mcp.trainedby.fit. OAuth uses PKCE, so there is no package to install and no one-time code to copy.

Add STREEQ to Claude

  1. 1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2. Name it STREEQ and enter https://mcp.streeq.app.
  3. 3. Choose Connect, sign in to STREEQ, and approve the permissions shown.
  4. 4. In a conversation, open Search and tools and enable STREEQ.

Add STREEQ to ChatGPT

  1. 1. In ChatGPT Settings, open Apps, then Advanced settings, and enable developer mode if your plan or workspace requires it.
  2. 2. Choose Create app or Add custom app, name it STREEQ, and enter https://mcp.streeq.app.
  3. 3. Choose Connect, sign in to STREEQ, and approve the permissions shown.
  4. 4. Start a new chat and select STREEQ from Apps or the tools menu.

Permissions STREEQ can request

These are the STREEQ permissions a connector can request. Your connection receives only the scopes you approve, and each tool still enforces account capability and plan authority.

Imported Strava history has its own consent. Existing connections keep that history hidden unless you reconnect and explicitly approve streeq:imports.read. Results from that permission are labelled “Strava archive, uploaded by you”.

streeq:fitness.read

Read your profile, plans, workouts, meals, progress and supported health evidence

streeq:meal_photos.read

Read meal photos only when you ask the AI to use them

streeq:evidence.write

Record or correct your own fitness evidence

streeq:plan.write

Change self-managed workout or food plans when plan authority allows it

streeq:connections.manage

Read and manage the AI connection itself

streeq:imports.read

Read history you uploaded from your own Strava archive

Example prompts

  • Review my recent training and show the most important pattern.
  • Build a four-day programme around my current goal and available equipment.
  • Reduce only the rice in my lunch from 200 g to 150 g.

Troubleshooting

Sign-in did not open

Remove the custom connector, add https://mcp.streeq.app again, then choose Connect. The AI client handles registration and PKCE automatically.

Plan change refused

Check whether an active TRAINEDBY coach currently owns the workout or food plan.

Connection missing

Remove it in Claude, add the address again, finish sign-in, and open a new conversation.

Connect when you want AI help.

Use the custom-connector steps above today. You can review or revoke the connection from STREEQ at any time.
